Green Works Fabrication opened their full-service fabrication shop in September 2021.  Owner and Operator Daniel Green worked in the welding fabrication industry for 22 years as a welder, fitter, project manager, and drafter before opening his own shop. After 13 years of working on the road living out of hotels for subcontractors, and then another 9 years working for a local craft brewery, the decision was made to leave Corporate America behind and start a fabrication shop.  Daniel loves to design and build; the shop has created the opportunity to meet great people and build unique projects to life.  Owner and Manager Linda works alongside Daniel in both the shop and office,  and enjoys dabbling in stained glass when time permits.

The shop has allowed our family to work together more closely.  Our two older boys have both grown up and moved out – one serving in the military, and the other working for a local contractor. He and his wife welcomed their first child in March 2026.  Both boys spent their childhood helping their dad in the garage building his wheeling rig, gates, jungle gyms, sprinklers, workout equipment, and whatever projects came along.  When the shop first opened, they worked as shop hands between school and part-time jobs before pursuing their own careers. 

That leaves us with our two girls, who equally love helping their parents in the shop.  Our older daughter helped hang all the lights, used the mag drill to drill holes in one of the fab tables, keeps the work area clean, and even has her own tools and toolbox. Our youngest learned to walk right around the time we opened the shop and later learned to ride her bike in the shop yard. She’s a good helper and is often found in the office in the afternoon napping or watching a movie, covered in soot and tuckered out from a hard day’s work. Both girls can often be found at a fab table “drafting” designs, building something on the floor, cleaning CNC plasma parts, helping Mom measure material at the saws, handing tools to one of the guys, or sitting on a fab table with a welding hood on watching their dad weld.
